Group Accountant

One of Yorkshires fastest growing wholesale companies is now recruiting a group accountant to join their team. Due to a year of unmatched growth in size, this role has been created for an experienced group accountant to add support at their dynamic head office finance function. It is an ideal role for an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant who has a background in a fast paced environment, as this company continues to grow in success. In this role you will be working within of a group of companies, ensuring subsidiaries are following the correct standards of accountancy.

Your responsibilities will include:
*Act as the lead of the accounts team liaising with senior stake holders across the business.
*Preparation and submission of full monthly management accounts.
*Production of budgets and forecasts.
*VAT calculation and submissions to the board.
*Management and overseeing of the company payroll.
*Working on several financial projects and aiding in their success.
*Helping to prepare the business plan, budgets and monthly forecasts.
*Preparation of financial reporting packs.
*Liaise with internal and external auditors.

Ideally you will be an ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified accountant within previous experience in a senior management accountant/financial accountant position.
