Group Accountant Operational Oil & Gas

An independent Oil & Gas business with assets globally are now seeking the addition of a newly qualified auditor to join them in their London office in a hugely varied, and operationally focused, position.

This is a unique opportunity for someone to make the move from the Big 4 into a multi billion dollar business and use the skills gained in audit whilst also getting exposure to more business focused and forward looking activities.

The position has the perfect blend of exposure to reporting (and thus utilising your skills in audit) and exposure to budgeting, forecasting, planning, JV Accounting and modelling.

This is a development position and my client intend to move the successful applicant into another role in the business within 2 years.

This role is be part of the team that is required to produce consolidated IFRS financial statement and Group Solvency 2 reporting.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is fundamental to complete the consolidation process for Group and is a focal point for the senior executives in driving strategy.

The successful candidate will be a recently qualified ACA/ACCA from the Big 4 and you will ideally have experience of the Oil & Gas industry.
