Accounts Payable Manager - growing hospitality business South West London - £32,000- £36,000

Your new role
As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will have overall responsibility to manage the Accounts Payable team and function. You will lead on-going process improvement initiatives and streamlining the Accounts Payable function. You will be the key point of contact with internal department heads, liaising on regular basis to address emerging supplier issues and maintain supplier relationships to ensure smooth supply of goods. You will be responsible for overseeing the PO process, managing cashflow management and processing multicurrency payments in the agreed payment terms. Additionally, you will be tasked with monitoring and reviewing team workload, KPI setting and reporting, team development and training through regular one-to-ones, training plans and effective delegation.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will be an experienced Accounts Payable Manager with previous people management experience. Candidates will ideally be studying towards ACCA, CIMA, AAT or an equivalent accounting qualification. Key skills that will ensure that you will succeed at this role will include having managed a high-volume accounts payable department including multicurrency invoice queries. Experience of using Navision system would be advantageous and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential (including pivots and v-lookups) for this position. You will need to be able to work under pressure and being a confident self-starter.
