Located in London's West End, our client is looking for a Management Accountant to join their growing international accountancy team.

Description

Based in London's West End, very close to Covent Garden, our client is looking for a Management Accountant with responsbility for the following duties:

● Process supplier invoices and prepare payment runs

● Process staff expense claims and company credit card expenditure

● Raise invoices to customers in accordance with contract terms and carry out credit control

● Reconcile bank statements daily and at month end

● Action and reconcile accruals, prepayments, depreciation and other reconciliations at month end

● Produce the monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts

● Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts, including liaising with external auditors

● Assist with the quarterly forecast and annual budgeting process

● Prepare quarterly VAT returns, EC Sales List, ONS data

● Administer the project accounting system (WorkflowMax), including monitoring of timesheets

● Prepare new employee and external consultant contracts

● Process monthly payroll and pensions

● Deputise for the Finance Director when necessary

Profile

The successful candidate:

● Part-qualified accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA)

● Will have worked either an Agency environment before, or worked in an environment that is timesheet based (e.g Consultancy)

● High achiever with excellent attention to detail

● Dedicated, reliable and committed to exceeding expectations

● Excellent communicator who can adapt communication styles to suit different situations, colleagues and audiences

● Able to maintain a calm and professional demeanour at all times, even when working under pressure

Job Offer

Salary of £40,000-£50,000
