• Supervise and mentor Finance department

• Process weekly payment run

• Credit control

• Cash management

• Customer queries

• Internal queries

• Payroll (Currently external bureau)

• Profit and loss forecast

• Cash flow forecast

• Adhoc Reporting

• Budget vs Actual review

• Prepare VAT and P11D forms for HMRC
• Prepare management accounts for presentation to Finance Director and Board.

Profile

They are looking to recruit a Finance Manager, with a background in the Telco/IT industry, with knowledge of services and solutions business models, potentially including networking, data centre and cloud solution services and solutions revenue and forecasting models. Understanding of service desk SLA's and customer charging for this type of model would be helpful.

You will be part of a highly customer focused team, interacting and liaising constantly with your finance team, sales team and service desk project managers to enable delivery of their connectivity solution to all customers.

This is a key role in the organization, with an expectation that the successful candidate has the capability to lead by example in servicing and managing all aspects of the finance function, including forecasting (P&L), cash flow projections and reporting, supervising and mentoring a team of three others (1 x qualified, 2 x part-qualified) for Payroll, Cash Management, Billings, and credit control.

The successful candidate will also have experience in:

• Co-ordinating all finance functions of a team
  
• Working on multiple finance aspects, at different stages that vary in size and scale
• Building and maintaining trusted internal and external customer relationships
• Working with heads of departments on clear budgeting strategies
• Managing and delivering to a clear plan
• Working with all levels of a business in terms of gathering finance data for management reporting
