Description
Joining as a Senior Accountant you will be given increasing responsibility over time and look to take on client management and portfolio responsibility and look to manage and support junior team members. Clients are very varied across sole traders, partnerships and a significant proportion of small/medium and large corporate clients, limited companies, SMEs and OMBs with a mix of sub audit and over audit threshold clients in your portfolio. You will lead and manage the delivery of audit, accounts, tax, general practice and advisory and planning services, with the support of staff in a mixed hands on and review, supervisory capacity . You will manage the delivery and build relationships with your clients, with prospects for progression as the firm is looking for individuals who have the potential to develop and progress within the firm and role.
Profile
You will be ACA, ACCA qualified, or finalist level, close to qualification, with experience gained within an accountancy practice environment, as a Senior Accountant / Supervisor, Assistant Manager etc, with skills across audit, accounts, tax and general practice, gained within any of - small, medium or large, independent accountancy practice environment, or alternatively coming from a larger mid tier, top tier firm background. You will be seeking an opportunity with genuine progression prospects where you will have the support to develop your career and progress.
Job Offer
£33,000 - circa £38,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable, plus benefits.
