Job description: We are recruiting for a Credit Controller for a well established organisation based in the Walsall area.
You will be expected to:
- Chase outstanding debtors, via telephone email and letter
- Ensure any payments due are made in a timely manner
- Deal with payment queries or invoice queries
- Manage existing payment arrangements
- Identify changes in payment patterns to ensure customers debt exposure remains in line
- Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
- Arrange monthly debtor meetings
- Run Monthly Statements or Letters
- Run Age Debtor Reports
- Propose write off for irrecoverable receivables
- Deal with Solicitors for accounts which go into liquidation/Administration
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience within credit control
- An eye for detail with accurate data input skills
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Be a team player
