As a valued member of the Assurance Market Operation's team you will have the opportunity to ensure high standards of Operational Excellence, Planning and Forecasting, and Governance whilst serving as a Trusted Business Manager. We're looking for someone like you to meet regularly and work closely with various stakeholders of the business at all levels and to develop a strong culture of Operational awareness , commerciality and accountability. It is a forward thinking, challenging role that alongside the Head of Market Operations for Assurance and the rest of the Assurance Market Operations team, searches for improvement in current processes and ensuring that the business has both the forwards and backwards looking data it needs.

Your key responsibilities

You'll spend the majority of your time independently reviewing the data and processes for Assurance Market Operations and analysing it for trends that can aid the business, bringing insights to your stakeholders. You will also need to design, create and implement processes to ensure we have consistent and quality, data (where those processes do not already exist) or monitor and test the effectiveness of the processes which do already exist. Partners, Directors, Managers and other areas of the business will look to you for best practice with InterAction, forecasting, Sales Reports, New Business Development data etc. You will in turn challenge your stakeholders regarding the adherence to New Business Development budgets, inputting of their data records in interaction and ensuring the correct data is provided to you for the monthly Reporting Packs you will produce, highlighting and escalating any areas of concern. You will need to understand the sales cycle and its ability to predict future performance and analyses sales performance to enable accurate forecasting of sales. You will also need to understand Account Engagement Revenue and its link to GTER and provide analysis of prior year sales trends to provide Sales Targets on a quarterly and annual basis. Furthermore, you will act as an ambassador of Assurance Market Operations, embodying the EY culture and reputation.

    To qualify for the role you must have

    • Minimum five years' experience in a client driven professional environment in a financial/business capacity
    • An eye for detail
    • Able to apply knowledge or take a fresh perspective to solve complex problems and issues that arise
    • Time and project management skills - able to plan and manage time effectively and flexibly to deal with key priorities
    • Ability to interact well with people at all levels within the firm and a demonstrate proven ability to build strong relationships
    • Strong IT skills - Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Spotfire, Tableau and SharePoint (Spotify and Tableau - training can be given)
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Highly organised with a sound attention to detail and an ability to deliver to deadlines

    • The ability to think on your feet, use initiative and judgement to make informed decisions
