Sheridan Maine are recruiting for a growing, Birmingham based I.T Retail business who is looking determined, outgoing Credit controller / Fiannce assitant to Join the team on a 12 month FTC. This long term contract available for a Finance Assistant based in Birmingham ( Kitts Green) due to maternity leave. As an Finance Assistant/ Credit Control, you will be the go to person for financial queries from customers and internal departments.
The Role:
As the finance assistant / Credit controller you will be responsible for Credit controll, Sales ledger, and purchase ledger using Sage 50.
Duties;
- Allocating payments
- Bank Reconciliation
- Creating and updating the stop list
- Approving orders
- Invoicing
- Sending statements
- Chasing payments
- Dealing with customer queries
- Processing credit applications
- Making payments to suppliers & Overview Purchase Ledger at month end
- Reconciling Supplier Accounts
- Sales Ledger Process Recording
- Cash Flow Forecast
- Submitting EC Sales
- GP Reconciliations
- Posting Journals
- Running Sage back ups
Skills Required:
The successful candidate will possess;
- Essential experience using sage 50 in the last 2 months
- Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Previous Finance experience
Other beneficial skills/experience:
• Works well in a team
• Excellent interpersonal, relationship building skills
• Exceptional telephone communication skills
Upto 22,000 P/A
Working Monday – Friday 8:30-17:30
onsite Parking
This role will begin as a 12 month FTC, the successfull candidate will be considered for a permanent role before the duration of the contract as long as the business continues on it current growth projection.
