iMultiply are delighted to be working on the exciting position of Management Accountant for a dynamic growing Hospitality business based in Glasgow.

The Role

You will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts and related reports. Providing a high standard of service, you will develop a strong understanding of all accounts allocated to you and provide them with actionable insight and help drive efficiencies. Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Preparing Monthly Management Accounts & updating company P&L
  • Managing cash-flow forecasts and supplier payment schedules
  • Preparing Quarterly VAT Submissions and Monthly Intrastat returns
  • Fixed asset Register
  • Review the work of junior staff, and be willing to devote time to coach and develop them
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and audit requirements by maintaining robust controls
  • Liaise with auditors during clients’ external audits.
  • Analysis of KPI's & metrics as required by clients and company management

Skills required
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to problem solve
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of Excel skills would be very advantageous
  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Organising and prioritising work to meet reporting deadlines
  • Experience of Navision or other ERP systems highly desirable
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant practical work experience.
