Management Accountant

Change Recruitment Group are currently working in partnership with a well-known service client based in Glasgow that are recruiting a qualified Management Accountant. This is a newly created role that’s been created through organic growth across the Group of 2 companies

Responsibilities include:

· Production of the monthly management accounts
· Processing accruals, deferrals and other accounting adjustments
· Providing a rigorous focus on cost management and allocation.
· Budget and stock reconciliations for departments as necessary
· Variance Analysis
· Running transaction reports
· Updating and maintaining Fixed asset register
· Produce and analyse cash flow
· Update and reconcile balance sheets
· Work with management to providing quality financial information
· Develop strong cross departmental working with operations to ensure both parties are aware of the key drivers of the factory results.
· Ad-hoc projects as and when needed
·
The successful candidate will be (CA, ACCA) and have strong experience in the above duties. This is not a role for someone who just likes to follow a process - flexibility, intuition and intellect are vital to do well.
