Accounts Intern

We are looking for three trainee accountants to join our growing team.Work train and qualify with a market-leading BPO, serving UK, US and China based clients in the maintenance of their accounting records right through the accounting cycle, from purchases and Accounts Payable through Project and Cost Accounting, to sales and Accounts Receivable and all related aspects of the General Ledger through to Trial Balance, group Consolidations and the production of Management and Draft Statutory Accounts.To do this we are always on the lookout for, and need excellent people who understand the bookkeeping and accounting process and want to develop their skills and grow with the business.You will participate fully in these processes, and will have already begun to develop and understand some or all of them.

Internship

You will receive all the on-the-job training and support necessary to make you a fully productive accountant as soon as possible.

Responsibilities will include the following:

ensure financial records are maintained quickly and accurately and in compliance with accepted policies and procedures,reconciliation and analysis of General Ledger accounts, AR, AP, stock and production accounts on regular and ongoing basis,preparation and posting of month end and year end journal entries including Accruals, Provisions, Prepayments, ForEx movements, Depreciation, Salaries etc.You will learn and come to ensure compliance with our client's local laws & regulations for reporting, filing and compliance with all local taxes.

Training and Development

The successful candidate(s) will receive practical, work-based training in the use of cutting edge tools including SAP Business ByDesign, QuickBooks Online and the complete Microsoft Office 365 suite.Your professional and personal growth will be enhanced including effective communication and soft skills.Remuneration

A living allowance of 22,500 PKR per month will be paid through the internship.

Shift work

You will be required to work in different shifts to match the timings of our clients based in different time zones. A generous compensation package is provided to reflect the limited anti-social hours worked on alternative late shifts.

Permanent position

We are looking for permanent staff. At the end of the 6-month internship, successful candidates will be offered a permanent position on a generous package with real career opportunities.

Education and Qualifications

Ideally, you will have completed your professional qualification already, although training and support will be given to the right candidates who have not.You are likely to have an undergraduate degree, although good high school academics and proven ability to pass professional accountancy examinations will provide an acceptable alternative.

Work place maturity

The successful candidate(s) will be required to report to a client base overseas - so excellent communication skills and the proven ability to work on your own or as part of a team with minimum supervision are fundamental requirements of the role.
