Data Analyst (Finance)

A medium sized Engineering company in Borehamwood are recruiting a Data Analyst to work within their Finance department. This is a varied role with excellent exposure and the opportunity to report into a hands on Director.

My client are a medium sized Engineering business who have a large customer base. Their UK head office is based in the heart of Borehamwood and due to a period of growth they are looking to recruit a Data Analyst (Finance) to join them on a permanent basis. The role is extremely varied, with exposure to dealing with stakeholders, manipulating large amounts of data and much more. Description

• Reporting into a hands on Finance Manager
• Assist the Finance Manager when required to review revenue and cost variances arising from billing
• Dealing with large amounts of data and manipulating this for month end purposes
• Analysing data reports to highlight trends in customer spend
• Reporting on increased revenue
• Reporting on customer trends
• Working alongside the sales team to come up with the best product for the customer based on their useage
• Using Excel on a daily basis, using Pivot Tables and Vlookups
• Other ad hoc tasks given to you by your Manager

Profile

• Living local to Borehamwood
• Ideally a degree in a relevant subject
• Someone who enjoys manipulating data
• Strong Excel user - must be intermediate to advanced
• Strong communication and presenting skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
