Assistant Accountant / Senior

A highly successful and growing firm of accountants, based near Castle Cary has a requirement for an Assistant Accountant / Senior to join the firm as a pivotal hire, in a role offering increasing responsibility and development potential working closely alongside directors as a key, right hand support. You will have a hands on role providing wide ranging services to clients and work on wider advisory project work.

Description

Joining as Assistant Accountant / Senior, based at the firms offices near Castle Cary, you will take on the preparation of year end accounts, bookkeeping , VAT etc for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, self-assessment tax returns, corporation tax returns and VAT returns. You will prepare a range of year end accounts from various records working closely with the directors and wider team here, in a key addition to this successful team and firm. You will progress in your career, with increasing responsibility and technical skill development on offer as well as the opportunity to develop your skills working on planning/advisory and wider business project work alongside directors.

Profile

You will be AAT and/or, ACCA studying perhaps, (study support on offer) or suitably qualified by experience, with anything from two to five years or more experience gained in the accountancy profession and practice sector, preparing accounts, tax and all round general practice services for varied clients at Assistant Accountant/ Senior level. You will be looking to further your career in a growing firm of accountants, offering progression and influential role, with its associated development for your career.

Job Offer

Circa £19,000 - £25,000 dependent on the experience and background of the right professional
