A top 40 London practice has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Tax Senior to join their Tax team.
Due to consistent success the business is rapidly expanding, therefore there is now a need to increase the support within the Tax team with a CTA qualified TAX Senior.
The successful candidate will be supporting a team of five Tax Managers and two Tax partners.
My client has a strong reputation for investing into their staffs training and development, therefore within this role you will have the opportunity to support junior members of the team and help them grow their own careers within Accountancy and Finance.

The ideal candidate will be CTA qualified, however individuals who are part qualified or ACCA/ACA qualified with knowledge of TAX will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review of corporation tax computations prepared by the accounts/audit team for a portfolio of companies.
- Preparation of personal tax returns for a portfolio of individuals, including preparation of CGT computations.
- Preparation of forms P11D for a portfolio of businesses.
- First point of contact for own portfolio of clients.
- Advising individuals and companies of their tax liabilities.
- Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
- Assist with HMRC enquiries into personal and corporate tax returns.
- Assisting on tax advisory projects for existing clients and prospects.
- Carry out research on more technical areas to assist managers/partners
- Identify tax planning opportunities within individual and corporate client portfolio.
- Delegating work to junior team members and reviewing work.
- Assisting with the preparation of invoices for clients.
- Good IT skills including confidence with using Word and Excel.
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written.
