Our very successful client has created a new Finance Analyst role to help manage the financial aspects of their Business.

This is an excellent opportunity to add value and truly impact on the performance of the business by providing sound financial support for their key commercial decisions.

As an experienced Financial Analyst you will have the technical knowledge to operate with the Management Team on all financial forecasting and reporting aspects.

Importantly you will have the credibility and interpersonal skills to work closely with the Business Managers to influence critical business and operational decisions.

You'll enjoy a role where you are interacting with a wide variety of managerial and leadership levels and where you are required to influence stakeholders.

Also this is a role where you can change and develop the reporting output and processes currently in place - ie it's an opportunity to make this role your own.

As Finance Analyst your main responsibilities will include:
  • Production of monthly and quarterly financial and budget forecasts and commenting on variances.
  • Forecasting and budgeting profit & loss and cash flow.
  • Continuous improvement of the Business Unit's cash flow monitoring and forecasting.
  • Reviewing and developing regular reports
  • Monitoring revenue and costs, ensuring they are appropriately budgeted, forecast and reported in line with Group's revenue policies.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Ensure all controllable and allocated costs are acceptable, budgeted and correctly forecast.
  • Provision of other ad hoc financial reports as requested.

To be successful in this high profile role you will demonstrate:
  • Experience of producing regular financial and budget forecasts with confidence to comment knowledgeably on any variances.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Experience of meeting these demands in a fast paced, professional financial services environment.
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
  • Good people skills, able to engage with senior Business Managers and influence them.
