Junior Trader - Cryptocurrencies & FX
Alphachain Capital is a leading proprietary cryptocurrency & FX trading firm based in London. The firm specialises in short-medium term positions in large-cap cryptocurrencies and is now seeking to increase it's trading team to bring on a Junior Trader.
The firm is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Prop Trader to work on the cryptocurrency trading desk. The successful candidate will have a passion for the industry and motivated to learn to trade at one of the UK's leading cryptocurrency trading firms. You will liaise with senior traders to place short-medium term positions in a variety of cryptocurrencies with sound risk management practices.
Requirements
Process
Suitable applicants with under 12 months profitable trading experience will be required to complete in-house training which provides an excellent opportunity to learn about cryptocurrencies and FX markets along with profitable trading strategies. There is a fee payable for students attending the Junior Trader Programme training due to the staff time, materials and allocation of a seat on our trading floor, all students achieve a recognised CPD certification for the training.
Once the initial training is complete candidates will undergo a 4-week internship on our trading floor under the supervision of an experienced mentor with weekly 1-2-1 performance reviews. Once successful, selected trainees will be allocated capital of up to £20,000 to trade their own book as a Junior Prop Trader with a 50% profit share.

Expected Income
£18,000 - £100,000 p.a. OTE, depending on performance.
Prop traders are independent contractors who take home 50% of their profits every month. Prop traders will be expected to achieve 5% account growth each month with additional investment achieved after consistent performance is established.

- A strong interest in cryptocurrencies, FX and general financial markets
- Excellent communication skills with other team members and staff
- Entrepreneurial mindset and able to work independently
- Ambitious and motivated to succeed
- Good emotional intelligence
- Experience is not necessary however experience in financial markets or other areas of finance would be beneficial
- Punctual and professional at all times
