Reed Accountancy are presently recruiting for an credit controller for a market leading company in Wigan. My client is looking for someone to work on a varied and challenging role within an established accounts team.
Duties:
- Credit checking potential customers
- Opening new accounts
- Reviewing sales contracts and verifying the information provided
- Chasing outstanding debt by telephone and letter
- Investigating and resolving queries
- Raising credit notes and manual invoices
- Recording of daily cheques and posting to the sales ledger
- Account reconciliation
- Processing monthly direct debit run
Skills Required:
- Credit control qualification would be desirable CICM or ICM
- Previous credit control experience
- Ability to create and develop lasting relationships
- Ability to manage workload
- Computer literate, strong excel and word skills
- Some experience of litigation & court proceedings would be an advantage
