My client has excitingly created a new role within their management teams for a risk, control and compliance professional. This role will report to the transfer agency director and be responsible for overseeing the teams within the company to monitor controls and compliance to reduce risk to the business overall.

This position is a role for those who currently work in risk & compliance for the banking / finance industry and seek to take full responsibility of the operational procedures internally to eliminate risk and assess current procedures to consider the implications of risk to the departments.

Duties include: –

*Provide regular status updates to Heads of Department and TA Director, communicating clearly and timely any obstacles
*Act as a contact point for all monitoring visits managing the content, recommendations and all actions agreed to ensure immediate implementation and continued delivery
*Engage stakeholders to facilitate the review, recommendation and implementation of risk reduction controls
*Provide regular status updates to Heads of Department and the Director

Key Skills Required: –

We would be keen to hear from you if you can demonstrate experience within risk and compliance at a senior level within the banking and finance industry. With the seniority of this role you must be able to demonstrate stakeholder relationship management as part of a previous role as well as a strong understanding of process improvement and analytical techniques. Industry knowledge, surrounding fund operations and investment is desirable but not essential for this role should you be able to demonstrate knowledge within risk.

Your offer will include a funded qualification which is essential criteria for personal development. This qualification is externally recognised and you will be supported with study sessions and specific mock tests prior to enrolment into the formal examination. All employees have the mandatory requirement of module one.
