Senior - Aviation Advisory

The role:

We have an opportunity for a qualified ACA accountant who is interested in working within the aviation industry. GT Aviation Advisory is a dedicated aviation team in Dublin and since inception in 2016, we have worked with the majority of the Top 10 leasing companies in the world. We have built a reputation as a team with a strong reputation for high quality delivery. We assist clients in the core aspects of their aircraft leasing business – this entails either a reliance on Excel modelling expertise for model build engagements or a reliance on our understanding of lease contracts and operations such as maintenance reserves. This is an opportunity for someone with the ability to understand problems quickly to work with the number one provider of advisory services to the aircraft leasing industry in Dublin – you will be immersed in the industry with high calibre colleagues.

Main Responsibilities:

• Working within a project team to analyse key operational and/or contractual data
• Develop understanding of core processes within aircraft leasing e.g. maintenance reserves
• Deliver insights and root cause analysis into data challenges
• Understand the financials of our clients (financial models, financial statements etc.)
• Support the efficient delivery of activities and projects
• Supporting and managing projects & initiatives

Skills and attributes:

• ACA Qualified
• Ability to understand problems quickly
• Ability to work within high-performing team
• Ability to interpret financial statements
• Proficiency in Excel would be advantageous, alternatively,
• Experience in internal audit would be advantageous
• 4 years + relevant experience
