Financial Controller

Kingswood is at an exciting time in its development, with the ongoing growth in pupil numbers, enhancements to its estates masterplan and its plans for overseas partnerships.  The recent completion of the beautiful new nursery facility and a significant new build at the Prep School has added significantly to the range of activities across the Foundation. 

To ensure that the School is best placed to achieve its ambitious objectives we are appointing to the new role of Financial Controller.  Reporting to the Bursar (Director of Finance and Operations), the successful candidate will lead the Finance Department.  The post holder will be expected to contribute to the strategic financial discussion with governors, producing innovative and timely management information to inform these discussions.  On occasions the post holder will be expected to brief at governor and senior management committees.  Therefore we are seeking a post holder who will be required to work with key stakeholders across the Foundation, so excellent communication and inter-personal skills are essential.
