Credit Controller

My client are a medium sized Manufacturing and Production business based in Watford who are seeking a permanent Credit Controller to join them. This is a busy and varied role where you will have your own set of clients and do the Credit Control, chasing debts and setting up new accounts.

Paying a competitive salary of up to £26,000 for the right person you will be given great progression and the chance to work in a friendly and collaborative team.

Client Details

My client are a local organisation who are rapidly growing and have many clients over the UK and Globally. Their Head office is based in the heart of Watford where this role will be based, sitting within a small Finance team and managing your own set of clients. This is a full time Credit Controller vacancy.

Description

• Chasing debts via phone and email
• Downloading bank statements
• Process and post cheques
• Processing payments
• Process Credit Card Payments
• Checking customer invoices
• Carrying out credit checks on customer accounts
• Setting up new accounts
• Process stock withdrawals
• Sending out 7 day letters if needed
• Ad hoc reporting
• Monitor and reply to emails in a timely manner

Profile

• A background in Credit Control is essential
• Proficient with Excel is essential, SAP would be an advantage
• Team player who is happy to learn and muck in
• Hard working person who is able to prioritise
• Strong communication skills
• Living local to Watford
