The starting salary for this position is c.,GBP70,000 per annum, plus contributory pension.
Manchester, UK, with periods of overseas travel. A relocation allowance up to a maximum amount is available to the successful candidate.

We are seeking a Finance Director to build on our significant achievements to date and help drive the organisation forward at an exciting time. As Finance Director you will:
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the financial and information technology affairs of MAG ensuring that all financial activities are carried out in compliance with internal, statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements
- Play a significant role as a member of the organisational leadership team to lead a strong, sustainable and innovative future for MAG.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate outstanding leadership skills and a proven ability to take a considered and clear view on the strategic issues and areas of risk and will have experience working at a strategic level within a complex, preferably global NGO. With significant experience of operating at a senior level in a tightly regulated environment, they will manage a high performing multi–functional team, ensuring that our values are visible in everything we do.
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have experience and understanding of multilateral and bi–lateral government contracting including compliance reporting and audit requirements.
Some travel will be essential in this role, which could include visiting our programmes across Africa, the Middle East and South East Asia.
