Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately coding and scanning Purchase Ledger Invoices.
- Ensuring Budget Holders authorise invoices.
- Paying authorised invoices and staff expenses on a weekly payment run.
- Preparing cheques and backing documents.
- Manual cheques raised and processed as necessary.
- Month-end reconciliation of Aged Creditors to Nominal Purchase ledger balance.
- Checking Supplier statements to ensure invoices and credit notes posted.
- Processing month-end purchase ledger accruals.
- Controlling Petty Cash & reconciling at the end of the month.
- Raising various queries that may occur with supplier's invoices.
- Following up the query until dealt with.
- Other duties as may be required.
Profile
Successful Candidate:
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritise their workload.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
