The client is a private education company that are based in London Victoria. They have over 50 day and boarding schools across the world and they are looking for an Group Accounts Payable Officer to join their Accountancy team.

They own and manage over 50 top quality international day and boarding schools across the world in South America, the Middle East and Europe. They educate over 60,000 students worldwide and they are looking for a Group Accounts Payable Officer to manage their purchase ledger.

Description

The successful Group Accounts Payable Officer will be:

• Training colleagues on group policies
• In-house training on the accounts payable team
• Inter-company transactions
• Processing of accounts payable invoices
• Employee expense claims
• Ad hoc payments
• Posting in the general ledger
• Journal entries
• Multi-currency bank reconciliations
• Assist with the month account closing

Profile

The successful Group Accounts Payable Officer will:

• Be very professional
• Have approximately 1-3 years of prior Accounts payable experience
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be comfortable on Excel
• Have previous exposure to a group company
