Your new role
In your new role you will be responsible for producing management accounts, running and processing payroll, completing VAT returns and cash flow. You will also aid in the business's yearly budgeting activities, Profit and Loss, Balance sheet Reconciliation and undertake to prepare the creditors month end payments. As part of your role you will record Time and Expenses on Projects, lodge bookings and be responsible for maintaining the business's day to day finances.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you must be an advanced Microsoft Excel user, be able to manage accounts using Sage. You should have experience processing payroll and be able to expenses and time spent on projects. You must be proactive, hard–working, driven and would like to stay within the business for the foreseeable future. You must have experience in Profit and Loss, Balance sheet reconciliation, taking accounts up to trial balance and be able to present management accounts. You must be comfortable working on own initiative and be accurate maintaining records.
