About the Jon Egging Trust

The Jon Egging Trust was founded in 2012 in memory of Red Arrows pilot Flight Lieutenant Jon Egging to realise his dream of inspiring young people to achieve a brighter future. Jon tragically lost his life on 20th of August 2011 whilst completing a Red Arrows display at the Bournemouth Air Festival.

The Trust delivers two key youth programmes: Blue Skies and Inspirational Outreach, connecting young people aged 11–16 who are underachieving in school with inspirational individuals and resources linked to aviation and STEM. A catalyst for change, the charity works in partnership with the military, predominantly the RAF, as well as corporate partners across the UK to support vulnerable young people to reach their potential.
