Page Personnel are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of a successful global company based in Warrington, this role will report directly to a Financial Controller and be based within a large accountancy function.
Client Details
This Warrington based business have grown dramatically over the past 5 years mostly by acquisition of competitors and are now at the end of a centralisation project, this Management Accountant is the final addition to the experienced team. This business is a global market leader and have a fantastic reputation in the UK for supplying industry leading indutrial support services.
Description
This Management Accountant role will include;
*Supporting the Financial Controller with all month-end tasks as required.
*Supporting the Financial Controller with the production of monthly management accounts packs including contract and overhead reports.
*Preparation of quarterly VAT returns for review.
*Responsible for accruals and prepayments for overhead cost centres.
*Collation and review of balance sheet reconciliations.
*Preparation of weekly cash forecasts for review.
*Supporting the Financial Controller with improving finance reports and process.
*Supporting the Financial Controller with preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
*Support for the finance team with ad hoc reporting and processing as required
Profile
This Management Accountant role is best suited to a part qualified Assistant Accountant with a strong foundation of experience. This role will require experience with;
*Month end accounts
*Analysis
*Working to deadlines
*CIMA or ACCA studier
*Excellent SAP experience and a minimum of intermediate excel knowledge (VLOOKUPs and Pivots)
