An international mechanical Automation Manufacturer is looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their team. The role will see you carry out various finance tasks including, Invoicing, Credit Control and Payroll. The ideal candidate will hold an Accountancy qualification and have experience of working a varied finance role.

Commutable from: Coventry, Solihull, Rugby, Warwick, Birmingham

Salary: Up to GBP 45,000 p.a. + Bonus + Pension + Benefits

Suitable for: Finance Manager, Accounting Manager, Financial Accountant, Finance Controller

The Role

– Check and authorise all sales and purchase invoices, oversee credit control, monitor all basic accounting processes
– Process month end trial balance, reconcile all balance sheet accounts and produce detailed management accounts
– Monthly reporting package to completed for presentation to Managing Director, including comparisons to budget and variance analysis
– Monthly, quarterly and annual Group reporting using Hyperion system
– Produce detailed annual budget and 5 year forecast in line with group policies
– Manage annual audit process and ensure completed within tight time frames
– Manage stock control with rolling inventory, investigating variances, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Group stock provision policy
– Statutory reporting, including payroll, VAT, Intrastat, EC sales and Company Secretarial returns
– Supervise HR function, review policies, check and authorize payroll, investigate grievances

The Person

– CIMA qualified or equivalent
– Proven work experience at Finance Manager level, with 5+ years overall finance and accounting experience
– Comfortable doing a lot of detailed work; with ability to work to a high standard and within tight deadlines
– Proactive and task orientated
– Advanced Excel user and proficient with MS office products
– Familiarity with Lotus Notes, JD Edwards (Enterprise One) and Hyperion desirable
– Knowledge of Sage Payroll
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals in a diverse environment
– Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
– Consolidations and group reporting
