An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join a high-growth media start-up based in central London.

My client is the market leading SaaS business for consumer product brands. They are start-up in size and have a laid back, non-hierarchical culture. They are based in central London.

Description

The Financial Controller will be responsible for:

• Full oversight of the day to day financial accounting
  
• Preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts
  
• Generating ad hoc reports, modelling and analysis
  
• Overseeing Payroll and Expenses systems
  
• Dealing with external reporting and liaising with auditors and bankers

Profile

The successful Financial Controller will have the following:

• Professional finance qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  
• Educated to degree level
  
• Roughly 3 years experience of producing statutory accounts/management accounts
  
• Ability to interact with external customers and suppliers and internal stakeholders
  
• Experience of UK tax reporting
  
• Able to work in a fast paced atmosphere and within tight timescales
  
• Experience with Sage desirable
  
• Strong Excel skills
