To provide financial support and analytic information/reporting of standard format to the MD.
A Finance Controller in a well-established organisation in Surrey.
To direct and review and challenge monthly profit and loss accounts with comparison to forecast, budget and last year and identify opportunities/lesson learnt.
To support and advise the management team on financial and commercial matters
To review management information and decisions made from such information, and put recommendations in place and action where change is required.
To ensure that the management teams are completing weekly forecasts and to challenge the information given to ensure that a commercial view of the business performance is maintained at all levels.
To identify the key revenue drivers and to ensure a standard format of monitoring yield is in place.
To liaise with external auditors
To support General Manager in strategic business planning.
To manage the weekly forecast submission.
To challenge the forecast and highlight future business risk / opportunities.

Previous experience of managing and leading a team
Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to communicate and influence at a senior level
Advanced Report writing
Advanced excel knowledge
Good working knowledge of PowerPoint/Word
Good working knowledge of hospitality systems
