You will support the Finance Director in the efficient day to day processing of financial information, ably supported by a close-knit team of 3 Finance Administrators.

Description

  • Coordinate the finance processes for the purchase, set up and on-going management of new Care & Support properties.
  • Manage all aspects of the monthly payroll - including processing new employees, leavers, salary changes, pension auto-enrolment, Inland Revenue returns.
  • Assist with the preparation of schedules and reconciliations for the management and year end accounts.
  • Provide analyses, reconciliations and reports for external funders and senior management from the accounting system.
  • Raise sales invoices on the Sage accounting system
  • Collect in outstanding monies from customers promptly
  • Process purchase orders, utility bills, invoices, expense claims and prepare BACs payment runs
  • Petty cash administration
  • Deal with ad- hoc administration tasks as required
  • Engage with and support CCP events and initiatives as required by the charity.
  • Present a positive and professional image of CCP at all times.
  • To abide by all CCP policies and procedures and legislation governing the work of the charity.
  • Profile

    • Previous experience in a similar finance role
    • Experience with reconciliations and analysis work
    • Experience in processing payroll with Sage payroll or similar package
    • Knowledge and experience of Sage accounts or similar accounting package
    • Intermediate Excel skills
    • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

    Job Offer

    This part-time role will pay a competitive salary of £26k, pro-rata for 30hrs/wk.
