Management Accountant

Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will take responsibility for a range of hands on accounting and commercial activities to drive the core accounts function while working alongside operations.

Description

As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for the core accounts, from month end delivery to partnering with the operations team and advising the MD on the monthly and quarterly budgets and forecasts. You will work with operational managers, reviewing and suggesting ways to increase revenues across multiple areas.

You will be driving hands on activities such as, invoicing, ledgers, reconciliations and fixed asset registers, with the support of a junior team. You will then be reviewing costs and providing cost-saving solutions to non-finance stakeholders, periodically reviewing financial controls and lead the annual budget process for your area.

Profile

Applicants for this Management Accountant role based in Wokingham should be qualified accountants (ideally CIMA or ACCA or ACA). Previous experience in the Manufacturing industry will be highly advantageous i.e costing and/or stock. Capable of working with non-finance as well as senior stakeholders, have strong communication skills and be competent with hands on accounting.

Job Offer

£40,000 - £50,000

Salary will vary depending on experience.
