A highly sought after opportunity for an Assistant Accountant has been created with a leading service sector company based in luxury offices in Stockport. This company are a global market leader in their sector and are recruiting due to continued expansion and as a result of a recent acquisition. This is a progressive role and offers excellent career prospects within the finance team.

Description

The role of Assistant Accountant is initially a temporary role which could be extended. You will be mentored by the current Management Accountant and will be a varied role with key duties including:

Assisting in maintaining and reconcile fixed asset registers Balance sheet reconciliation

Posting journals
Prepayments and accruals.
Reconciling of the company credit cards
Assist in the preparation of year-end accounting files
Intercompany reconciliations

Assisting with Preparation of Management Accounts

Profile

In order to apply for the role you should:

Be an ACCA/CIMA studier or be qualified by experience

Have previous experience of prepayments/accruals or balance sheet reconciliation

Be available to consider a temporary role initially
