Reporting to the Finance Director the Finance Manager will be responsible for the oversight and management of the transactional based roles within the Finance Team - This will include overseeing Staff Expenses, Accounts Payable, Sales Ledger/Invoicing and Credit Control.

Description
- Manage and mentor a team of 5-10 staff
- Monitor the day to day financial operations within the company i.e Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Nominal Ledger transactions and Bank/Cashbook
- Manage weekly cashflow forecast process
- Manage month-end close of transactional ledgers
- Manage preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Set, manage and monitor performance against Transactional Team KPIs
- Drive process and system improvements
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting
- Assist in audit process
Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience of managing
- Experience of working with transactional teams beneficial
- Understanding of financial controls
- Thrives in a changing environment
- A strong team player - able to engage other team members
- Ability to liaise with Senior Management and push back where necessary
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills
- Experience of Sage software preferred but not essential
Job Offer
Up to £50,000 + potential 10% bonus (dependent on individual performance)
