Interim Financial Controller / Finance Director

Number 1 in finance for an SME technology firm prepared for huge growth after PE investment.

Client Details

This firm is a market leader in what they do. After securing private equity investment, they have big growth plans for the next 18-24 months and are looking for an Interim FC / FD to join them to prepare for this growth spurt. As such, this is a fantastic opportunity for this person to join for the growth journey, and experience what is bound to be an exciting 6 months.

Description

This role will entail getting involved in a whole range of finance responsibilities:

- Business partnering with executives in the firm who will need support and challenge during the expected growth period

- FP&A across several entities

- Statutory reporting, year end, transfer pricing

- Ownership of month end process, production of detailed board packs

Profile

You will be a dynamic, ambitious, ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified Financial Controller / Finance Director who is also willing to develop further.

You will be bright, engaging, technically strong, and well-used to working with a whole range of stakeholders in a business (and previous experience of working with PE houses would be really ideal).

If you have worked in the technology sector or an SME professional services business before too, this would be a strong bonus.

This role will also potentially suit someone of this profile who is relocating to Manchester and has worked in the PE / tech space before.

Job Offer

This role is being offered for 6 months to begin. It has the strong potential to go permanent and move into an FD role down the line.
