Description

Located in London's West End, our client is looking for a Finance Systems Assistant Manager - Cognos, Hyperion, TM1, Navision with responsibility for the following duties:

Provide support to Group and Regional Finance teams on the use of TM1 and the MS Navision system
Ensure interface between Navision and TM1 is securely maintained
Administer user menus security and parameter files including ensuring the accounting calendar is defined
and controlled appropriately
Implement system upgrades in conjunction with third parties
Provide training to users as and when required

Administer use of COGNOS Controller within Group for financial consolidation and reporting
Manage interface between COGNOS Controller, TM1 and local accounting systems at individual school levels if applicable
Administer security and carry out regular house- keeping tasks
To be main point of contact for Cognos Controller in respect to external consultants and end users at Group level
Assume the technical leadership role in the Group with respect to the financial reporting systems and advise/support operating units in the use of the systems and the resolution of systems issues

To assist on any data migration project in relation to Hyperion from TM1.
Assist with the roll out and implementation of group chart of accounts and troubleshoot issues where necessary.
Continue to add additional functionality and information sources to the system as and when required

Develop and improve data sources and storage of data within the current databases.
Proactively identify, manage and roll out new functionality
Building new OLAP cubes and adding new data sources as required by the business
Represent Finance and collaborate with IT to review and assess new software products for use within the business

Develop and manage data upload templates for regular KPI reporting, budgeting and forecasting
Maintain monthly foreign exchange rate inputs and ensure data accuracy in TM1 and Cognos Controller
Consolidate financial and non-financial data to prepare monthly balance scorecards by using excel and Power BI tools
Maintain and develop the rolling forecast in TM1 to assist short and long term financial planning
Provide ad-hoc assistance to the Group Finance team.

Profile

Experience of administration of COGNOS Controller, TM1, Hyperion, Navision or similar financial accounting systems.
Knowledge of VBA
Knowledge of TM1 including Rules, Turbo Integrator and TM1 reporting.
Knowledge of SQL (Query level)
System implementations and process improvement
Data warehousing and database management
Data migration and roll out of new systems.
Financial and Management reporting / Financial Modelling experience
An aptitude towards systems and IT
Advanced Excel skills including macros, pivots, data modelling and reporting using excel.

Job Offer

Salary of £35,000 - £45,000
