About us

PEAS is an international education not–for–profit. We exist to expand access to quality secondary education in Africa. Today, there are over 20 million children in Sub–Saharan Africa without access to secondary education, and education gives opportunity to lift people out of poverty, help keep themselves and their families healthy and participate constructively in democracy. So, we build and run not–for–profit secondary schools in Uganda and Zambia. Starting in 2008, PEAS now have 32 secondary schools which educate over 16,000 children.

Whilst we are proud of our success to date, we are bold in our ambition. Our goal is to improve the educational outcomes of millions of children across Africa and the developing world. We are looking to expand our school networks and to use our experience and expertise to help others run great secondary schools too.

To support our ambitions for growth, we are looking for a qualified accounting professional who shares our passion about transforming lives through education to join us in our next chapter.

So, if you are an experienced problem–solver, good at influencing others to achieve great things, and want to have an impact on one of the greatest challenges of our time, then this is the role for you.
