Description
- Business partner the Head of three departments by providing insight into the financial aspects of their accountabilities.
- Deliver accurate and timely period end reporting, ensuring transactions are recorded correctly, control accounts reconciled, database is up to date and appropriate amounts are capitalised.
- Monitor and report on the financial performance of sales activities and profit margins.
- Provide financial analysis, evaluation and insight on the planned programs.
- Working in conjunction with key customers, provide timely and accurate cash forecasts for three departments for inclusion in the financial plan and treasury cash forecasting.
- Prepare the financial statements for the organisation and any other subsidiaries and JVs.
Profile
Professional membership of a CCAB organisation.
- Ability to build good rapport and communicate effectively and appropriately with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to present financial information effectively.
- Flexibility to ensure deadlines are met.
Experience of development accounting and business planning is desirable.
- Experience of providing financial support to managers/budget holders.
- Proficient knowledge of Excel.
- Provision of accurate and timely financial information to empower decision making.
Job Offer
A salary of £35-40,000 and competitive benefits package is on offer for the right candidate.
This role will include a small amount of travel to another Somerset site, but as a very flexible organisation, the ability to work from home / dynamically will be available from day one.
