- Progressive responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation.
- Collating, preparing and interpretingreports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements, and carry standard analysis reports.
- Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure.
- Banking management of facilities exposure.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making.
- Lead development of annual budgets, monthly forecasts and month-end reporting of actual results for the Construction Business Unit, including variance analysis to forecast and budget.
- Establish a more comprehensive forecasting and budgeting process by collaborating with Construction Business Unit leaders and Commercial Managers and standardizing monthly financial reviews
- Provide business/financial analysis and decision support that allows management to evaluate alternatives, make fact-based decisions, and evaluate the consequences of decisions.
- Drive efficiencies in all FP&A key processes and forecast accuracy improvement.
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
- Oversee financial department employees, including financial assistants and accountants.
- Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
- Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company
- Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
- Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
- Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
