A Finance Manager position with a broad role to oversee the accounts assistant in the daily activities including bank reconciliations, along with posting and settling expense claims, corporate credit cards, monthly journals including payroll in a timely manner.
Prepare thorough reports for external stakeholders including the distribution pack.

Description
Oversee the accounts assistant in the daily activities including:
- Bank reconciliations
- Trade finance loans
- Preparation / submission of trade payment requests and facilities
- Maintain loan file and register
- Record transactions in cash book and reconcile to bank position
Post and settle expense claims, corporate credit cards, monthly journals including payroll in a timely manner
Undertake weekly Supplier/Customer advance control
Prepare monthly management accounts
Prepare reports for external stakeholders, including distribution pack
Prepare, reconcile and submit monthly VAT returns
Prepare and submit EC Sales and Intrastat dispatches/arrivals returns
Profile
Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Strong financial management skills in gathering financial data, evaluating and interpreting results
- A proven experience in Corporate Accountancy within a similar environment
- Knowledge of Treasury/ Financial Markets/ Foreign exchange (essential)
- Advanced Excel skills and experience across different accounting systems
- Analytical mind set with an ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Proactive self-starter with an ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to work across teams at a local/global level and lead project initiatives with minimal supervision and an open communication style.
