Working within the Finance Team, a full-time and permanent opportunity is available for an experienced and suitably qualified Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer.

Working within the Finance Team, a full-time and permanent opportunity is available for an experienced and suitably qualified Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer.
Key aspects and responsibilities of your role will include (but not limited to):
Accounts Payable:
- Checking and processing supplier invoices
- Batching invoices in preparation for payment
- Maintaining relationships with vendors and dealing with enquiries
- Completing statement and bank reconciliations
- Ability to review the Ageing Report and report anomalies
- Assisting the broader finance team on an ad-hoc basis
Payroll:
- Process and set up all new employees
- Process all terminations
- Month-end reconciliations
- Resolve payroll queries with both Head Office and site-based employees
- Process Superannuation Payments
- Verification and reconciliation of leave entitlements including sick leave and annual leave
- Interpret, apply and advise on all penalties/allowances in accordance with relevant Awards
Ideally you will have:
- 2 - 3 years' experience in an Accounts Payable function
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to work with staff at all sites
- High attention to detail
- A Payroll Professional with demonstrated experience managing an end to end Payroll process
- Exposure to Xero Payroll Software is desirable
