Role Overview
Enterprise Data Platforms (EDP)
Our EDP Tribe deliver, manage and maintain Enterprise Data Platforms across their full lifecycle and ensure we deliver secure and stable platform services to our Stakeholders across the Enterprise.

Our goal is to provide ongoing efficient and safe planning, delivery and support of the Global Information Warehouse, ECDM and Batch Integration Hub across its full lifecycle and deliver value for customers across the enterprise.

Your role will focus on the delivery on Oracle 10g,12g (SQL/PLSQL)and UNiX, ongoing problem management, incident root cause analysis, application support, monitoring, change and transition consultations/implementation, and activities required for restoration during high profile / high severity incidents within the ECDM (Enterprise Customer Data Mart) Application.

As part of this exciting role you will participate in and contribute to ANZ’s Data Services Transformation Journey.

What will be in your toolkit:
  • You will have Subject Matter Expertise in supporting applications on Unix platform and Oracle 10g/12g (SQL/PLSQL)
  • Strong Unix scripting skills (Shell/Puppet)
  • Good knowledge on job scheduling & scheduling tools (if possible in Control-M).
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Adaptable to changing technologies.
  • Will be a comfortable working in a 24*7 support role with an expectation to be on the oncall roster.
