Our Client, a Leading Government Organisation is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst/ Reporting Specialist to join their team for a 9-month contract, based in Ultimo.
This role supports the business by providing analytical information and carrying out financial modelling to the finance team and senior management to assist with strategic decision making.
As part of the role, your responsibilities will include:
Providing services relating to compliance-based financial reporting, auditing, insolvency and accounting information systems. You will provide advice on associated record-keeping requirements for the organisation.
About You
You will have demonstrated experience in a similar role and be CA / CPA qualified. You will also have extensive experience in the following:

- Extensive experience in advanced Excel (Modelling, Pivots etc.) and other analytical tools such as BI, to present results and analysis in tailored reports.
- Power BI is highly advantageous
- Experience in Month/year ends, preparing financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
