Description
As a Finance Analyst working from the Woking, Surrey office you will be responsible for:

- To provide analysis to understand the variances to our plan and determine the key drivers, communicating this to the wider business
- To be the owner of rolling forecasts, and subsequently managing the budget and forecasting process ensuring they are delivered on time and with the right level of detail
- To support UK Finance and the wider business by providing the information they need along with insights to make the decisions to ensure the on-going success of the business
- To be the UK's financial reporting and planning systems expert (HFM, SAP ECC, Adaptive Insights)
- To business partner cost centre owners, managing a section of UK's fixed costs, as well as being the lead on Zero Based Budgeting
- To be a key player in the integration and interaction with the Finance Shared Service Centre
The Finance Analyst is also responsible for these areas
- Month end reporting
- Rolling forecast
- Quarterly reporting
- Fixed Costs
- Systems Expert - Key systems are SAP ECC, HFM, Oracle
Profile
- Ideally part qualified (CIMA/ACCA)
- Ideally experience in relevant roles including exposure to FP&A or commercial finance, analysing costs, understanding variances and providing commentary
- Strong systems skills: it would be an advantage if you have used the following but it's not essential: SAP ECC and HFM (Hyperion)
- Strong Excel skills SUMIF, VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH
- Drive and ambition is required, as the role has significant exposure and is well placed to support future career advancement
- Flexibility and ability to work in a dynamic environment and prioritise
- Attention to detail is paramount due to the audience our work goes to
- The analyst needs to be inquisitive with a desire to question results, to help understand true drivers of our business performance and make actionable recommendations to improve in
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with and communicate to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Job Offer
Salary £36,000 - £42,000, Bonus of a minimum of 10%, Full Study Support Package, Contributory Pension Scheme, Private Medical Insurance, 25 days holiday, parking, other excellent benefits
