Your Mission:
Our purpose is to provide the intelligent automation platform and services that optimises our business processes through artificial intelligence and robotics to provide radically simpler customer experiences and banking processes execution.
Here at ANZ, data science is about applying machine learning to delivering a seamless customer experience at scale through working with the rest of the business in an innovative, adaptive and agile way. You will have significant hands on developing and tweaking machine learning algorithms, setting up data architecture standards for the machine learning enterprise platform. You will enforce best practices for data science teams and help guide the overarching platform architectural needs.
What you bring to the Role?
Experience in creating advanced analytics modelling (e.g. supervised/unsupervised machine learning) and its use in business contexts
Experience working with state-of-the-art Technology and an in-depth knowledge of machine learning methods to understand and apply in the business transaction processing context
Experience in preparing and combining data using SQL and NoSQL
Deep statistical understanding and affinity for or experience with statistical and mathematical methods of data analysis (e.g., SVM, DBSCAN, text mining)
Depending on the specific tribe, squad and purpose, and mix of technical experience with programming in Python, R, (C , Java and Akka) and statistical packages (R, SAS); data governance, quality & control skills and experience, as well as data test automation capabilities
Strong communication and presentation skills to translate analysis into insights and present findings
Process automation, deep system expertise, forensic mindset
Ability to effectively communicate to all stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
Ability to apply machine learning in the business transaction processing to intelligently automate process
You will also a combination of the following specialised skills:
Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to import from existing data sources
Uplift governance and quality of data and analytical models, standards and controls
Align deep analytical expertise to drive business outcomes and recommend pathways to optimise
Experience in data pipe lines and cloud based analytical solutions
Understanding of various cloud offerings on machine learning platforms
