North Hertfordshire
£80,000 - £90,000 per annum
Our client, a specialist data research and consultancy organisation based in North Hertfordshire, is looking for an experienced Finance Director to join their team. The desired candidate will be Qualified with 10 years post-qualification experience, commercially-minded, with the ability to operate at board level and the ability to create and maintain effective relationships with external advisors and financial institutions whilst working under pressure.
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring financial assets are fully utilised and that sufficient working capital is available to support business strategy
Financial and Management reporting across all levels
Creating and managing high performing teams across the Finance division
Developing powerful relationships with Functional Heads, Shareholders and External Advisors
Management of foreign currency and loss minimalisation on currency receipts
The provision of management accounts including forecasts, group profitability, cash and resourcing requirements
Coordinating business planning and producing annual budgets
Maintaining accurate statutory financial records and legal compliance at all times
Representing all Finance functions on the company Board and reporting to the CEO
Qualifications and skills required:
ACA / ACCA Qualified with 10 years PQE
Relevant experience as a Finance Director or Head of Finance with SME Board level experience
Service industry experience
Experience of working within global markets such as India, South Africa, USA and Europe (preferred)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Proven organisational ability and analytical skills
Confidence in negotiation and relationship building
Commercial awareness
