The Role:
Support school departments with appropriate financial information to help decision making.
Developing initiatives and policies to improve efficiencies.
You will report to the Finance Director as well as provide support to the bursar.
Your Responsibilities:
Analysing current and past financial data.
Track costs against budgets and assist in reforecasting data.
Prepare reports to financial information and communicate the insights of these reports to the wider business.
Support the production of reports and analysis for quarterly Finance and Operations committee.
You will be required to maintain an up to date knowledge of Equality and Diversity as well as safeguarding legislation, and the colleges safeguarding policies and procedures.
Ensure that an up to date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
You will need to maintain an update your own knowledge and skills in line with legislation and the needs of the role.
Requirements:
Experience with statistical analysis and financial forecasting.
Detail oriented with strong organisational and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritise.
Ability to complete projects in a timely manner.
Advanced Excel skills.
Accounting qualification desirable (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
Knowledge of Sage is an advantage.
