Finance Analyst - Contract

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently engaged with an exciting Bradford employer to recruit a new Finance Analyst - Contract to cover a maternity within their department, this role is integral to the continuous smooth running of the business and a brilliant opportunity for exposure to a Part Qualified/ Newly Qualified Finance Analyst.

Your role would be to work with the Finance Business Partner, supporting and challenging the business through value-adding commercial insight and analysis, on a day to day you would expect to be involved in:

• Creation of financial modelling and analysis to the business and provide insightful reporting on key strategic projects

• Analyse large data-sets to monitor performance, highlight key trends and provide accurate and timely financial recommendations

• Develop & prepare forecasting models

• Preparation of ad-hoc analysis and modelling to indicate on business and product performance

• Support the production of quarterly forecasts, challenging teams where necessary

• Supporting the business with analysis and support on target acquisitions

• Occasional Month end reporting and analysis

Ideal profile

• You will have experience as a Finance Analyst - Contract experience desirable

• You will be a Part Qualified/ Newly Qualified Accountant

• MS Excel - advanced

• You will have experience in a highly commercial position
