We are currently looking for an interim Chief Accountant to work for a top financial services business in the City. This is a short term piece of work that would be responsible for the following;

We are currently looking for an interim Chief Accountant to work for a top financial services business in the City. This is a short term piece of work that would be responsible for the following;
- Ownership of all financial reporting across IFRS, Solvency II and wider regulatory reporting.
- Leader of Balance Sheet Analysis providing updates/reports to board level members.
- Oversight of the Production and operational finance team.
Interim Chief Accountant Experience/skill set;
- Qualified Accountant with extensive PQE.
- A strong mix of relationship management and technical accounting skills (across both IFRS and Solvency II).
- A good understanding of both life and non-life insurance products and markets and proven team leadership skills.
- A consistent record of delivering to time and quality, and experience of effective stakeholder management across a range of disciplines and seniority levels.
- A deep understanding of financial control frameworks and a strong control ethic
